I have been coming here for years and I've never had a bad massage. You can be confident that if Urban Oasis hires someone, that person is highly competent. Of course I have my own favorites but if I'm in desperate need of a massage, I know I can take whomever is available. The space is exactly what you want from a spa... quiet and clean. I like to reserve a steam afterward to complete the experience and I always walk out feeling lighter and better than when I walked in.

I contacted Urban Oasis to purchase a gift card for a friend. I knew that she LOVES this place and now I know why. I couldn't make it there in person in time for her birthday because of my schedule so they were kind enough to mail it to me. I received it within two days in the mail.  My friend was so happy when I gave her the gift card and she encouraged me to purchase a massage for myself. Since then I have been back and WOW was I happy!  Great customer service experience from my first encounter over the phone to my my own massage. I've tried their Thai and hot stone massages. Both services were outstanding! There's an option of having a steam or rain shower afterward and both are enjoyable. Be sure to request more time if you think you need more than 20 min in the shower. There's a strict limit on shower time and you will receive a knock on your door.

I had Kristina (she's not listed) for a TMJ session and loved every minute of it. Being a bodyworker myself, I highly recommend her. Thoughtfully and effectively touching in on all my complaints areas. Her flow and time management allocated the right amount of time in each area. Pressure was perfect! I appreciate her patience in allowing my tissue to respond. About ten minutes in I was wishing my session was longer. Looking forward to trying other modalities. Urban has the best rainfall showers! Water pressure and temp control was impressive. None of that weak shower BS that leaves soap scum and hair on your body.

I have been going to Urban Oasis for a few years now and all of their massage therapists do amazing work, but for me, Rae is the only one that can get the kinks out of my neck and shoulders.   I have not mentioned her name in past reviews because I don't want her to book up, but she truly is gifted, so I have to sing her praises!   Rae is the only massage therapist that I hug after a massage because that's how incredible I feel afterward, but she's also a great human - very caring and so genuine.   Deep tissue massage with a focus on neck work is not intended to be a soothing & relaxing massage, but I somehow always find myself drifting to sleep on her table.   If I try to get in for a last-minute massage and Rae is booked, I am never disappointed with any of their other therapist - they are all that good.   Kristen and the front desk staff are always super nice and helpful, and the mango drink and steam shower are the cherry on top!!

Amazing prenatal massage with Kelly! I'm almost 30 weeks and have tried a handful of other prenatal massage spots, and they don't even compare. I have been going to Urban Oasis for over a year now and I absolutely love the staff and the space.   I enjoy the space; it is warm, inviting, and calming.  Each room has a single bed and additional blankets or heaters if you enjoy even more warmth.  The massage beds offer a mesh cut out for pregnant bellies which is a nice touch.   I appreciate the employees as well. They are always calm and each has given great massages.

I have loved Urban Oasis for decades. I was always a client at the Maple Street location. Once it closed I have visited the North Avenue location a few times. While it is not small and quaint like my local spa, it it still wonderful and welcoming. Parking and the entrance is a bit confusing, but was easily navigated once I figured it out. Located on the lower level, it gives a tucked away feel. Soft neutral colors add to the relaxing vibe. I have gone for massages and have love the therapists that were assigned to me. I have also purchased gift certificates for my family. I am fast becoming a regular!!
